Lil Feet board members and local firefighters helped kids pick out new shoes at Payless Shoes.
Lil Feet began in 2009 when firefighter Fred Barbera and his crew responded to a fire alarm at a daycare center.
While at the center, Barbera noticed a child with holes in his shoes. Later that day, he bought the child shoes and socks.
Since then, Lil Feet has provided thousands of pairs of shoes to children throughout St. Lucie County.
