St. Lucie County Fair begins Friday, runs through March 8

ST. LUCIE COUNTY, Fla. — The St. Lucie County Fair kicks off Friday!

The 10-day event is considered the largest family entertainment event on the Treasure Coast.

The fair includes a carnival, livestock shows, a demolition derby, a fair queen contest and a rodeo.

There’s also a large emphasis on the agriculture industry and the impact across St. Lucie, Martin, Indian River and Okeechobee counties.

The St. Lucie County Fair also highlights students involved with 4-H and FFA youth agriculture organizations.

For nearly 55 years, the fair has been dedicated to promoting agricultural, horticultural, industrial, creative arts and sciences and educational opportunities in the community.

Gates open Friday at 4 p.m.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for children.

The fair is held at 15601 Midway Rd. on the fairgrounds west of Fort Pierce.

The event runs through March 8.
