ST. LUCIE COUNTY, Fla. — A 48-year-old man died in a crash on I-95 on Christmas Eve.
The Florida Highway Patrol said Raymond Leon Spencer was driving southbound on the interstate around 7 p.m. Monday night.
Troopers said Spencer's Chevrolet pickup truck collided with a crash actuator on the inside shoulder at Mile Marker 128.
His truck went across the southbound lanes onto the closed outside shoulder, where it came to final rest.
Spencer was taken to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
