Three juveniles are in custody after an overnight break-in at a Winn-Dixie in Belle Glade.

Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to the store in the 900 block of Main St. around 3:30 a.m.

Deputies arrived and found the front window smashed.

The juveniles fled the business after grabbing several items inside the store.

Deputies set up a perimeter and tracked them to Glades Central High School.

At 5:30 a.m., PBSO said the three juveniles, ages 11, 16 and 16 were taken into custody without incident, inside the high school.

The Winn-Dixie is open for business Wednesday morning.

Palm Beach County school spokeswoman Julie Houston Trieste said schools should be operating on a normal schedule.

PBSO said deputies and detectives will interview the juveniles and charges will be filed accordingly.

Winn-Dixie Regional Vice President Shawn Sloan released the following statement regarding the break-in:

"We are taking this matter very seriously as the trust and safety of our customers is our highest priority. We appreciate the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office for their quick response and diligence in bringing this matter to a close.”
