SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif.-- Despite foggy conditions in California, SpaceX has successfully launched its seventh batch of satellites into space.
The company's Falcon 9 rocket launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base in southern California Wednesday.
The rocket booster pushed 10 Iridium NEXT satellites into orbit, before successfully landing on a SpaceX drone ship in the Pacific Ocean.
Today's batch of satellites joins 55 others already in operation. This is SpaceX's 14th launch so far this year.
