MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — Police in South Florida are looking for two people who fired weapons into a crowd at a basketball court, wounding eight people.
The shooting was condemned by the Miami-Dade County mayor, who said she's “outraged by another act of senseless violence against innocent young people.”
A police spokesman said six people were in critical condition, including a 16-year-old boy who was airlifted to a hospital. The two others who were wounded are in stable condition.
The spokesman said the two suspects ran away. Police are hoping the public will provide information regarding their identity and whereabouts.
