ORLANDO, Fla. — A Central Florida road caved in, pulling an ambulance into the ground in Orlando Thursday morning.
Authorities say the ambulance was responding to a call when a hole opened up in the road.
The hole is about six-feet wide, but officials aren't sure how deep it is.
The rescue vehicle suffered some extensive damage, but no one was hurt.
The city of Orlando said the hole is not a sinkhole, but believe the ground collapsed when too much sand collected around a utility line.
No word yet on when the hole will be fixed.
