ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) — Police say a 20-year-old man faces a second-degree murder charge for shooting a man who was trying to break up a fight.
St. Petersburg police arrested Christopher Canfall on Wednesday.
According to an arrest report, Jermaine Cummings was trying to break up a fight early Sunday when he was shot.
Witnesses fled when the shooting happened, but police on Wednesday attributed Canfall's arrest to help from the community.
No additional information has been released.
