Florida has many great things to offer but being a working mom isn't one of them.

At least, that's what a study from WalletHub found.

The site said it looked at 15 key metrics to come up with the best and worst states (and the District of Columbia) for mothers who work.

According to WalletHub the best 10 states are:

1    Vermont
2    Minnesota
3    Massachusetts
4    District of Columbia
5    Connecticut
6    Rhode Island
7    Maine
8    New Jersey
9    Delaware
10   New York

And the worst 10 are:

42    Texas
43    Wyoming
44    Georgia
45    West Virginia
46    Mississippi
47    South Carolina
48    Nevada
49    Alabama
50    Louisiana
51    Idaho

As for Florida? WalletHub ranks it 26th. It says the Sunshine State ranks 20th when it comes to child care, 7th for professional opportunities and 42nd in work-life balance.
