Travelers planning a trip to London next year will have a new option starting in July.
British Airways announced Thursday they are launching direct flights to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport starting July 6, 2017.
According to a news release, the flights will operate three days a week, year round with four flights a week during the peak summer-travel season.

The flights leave Fort Lauderdale at 5 p.m., arriving in London the next day at 6:30 a.m. The return flight from London leaves at 9:25 a.m., arriving in Fort Lauderdale at 1:45 p.m.
Roundtrip fares can already be booked starting at around $766 on the British Airways website.
It will be the airline’s third route from Gatwick to Florida, and its fourth service to the Sunshine State. British Air already has direct flights from Miami, Orlando and Tampa.
Norwegian Air currently is the only airline to offer non-stop flights from Fort Lauderdale to London.
