FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — A Broward County judge was dismissed Monday from a civil complaint filed by Zachary Cruz.
Zachary Cruz is the brother of the confessed Parkland school shooter, Nikolas Cruz.
Zachary Cruz was arrested for trespassing at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shortly after the Feb. 14 shooting. Judge Kim Mollica later ordered $500,000 bail for what is typically a $25 charge.
He believes the unusually high bond was set because of his brother, prompting the civil complaint.
Zachary Cruz moved to Virginia earlier this year.
