LAUDERDALE LAKES, Fla. — The Broward Sheriff's Office has been saying "thank you" to hospital staff on the front lines in the fight against the coronavirus.

Deputies and fire-rescue personnel greeted workers outside Florida Medical Center in Lauderdale Lakes during their shift change Tuesday night, clapping and thanking them for their service.

They did the same thing two weeks earlier at Broward Health North.

It's all part of a nationwide "Clap Because We Care" movement.
