COCONUT GROVE, Fla. -- Police are looking for a man who broke into a couple's Coconut Grove home Thursday and stole $100,000 worth of merchandise while they slept upstairs.

Miami police said the man was able to pry open the back door of the home in the 3000 block of Shipping Ave. around 9 a.m.

Once inside, the man took electronics from the downstairs area then went upstairs and grabbed various jewelry pieces.

"He broke in downstairs, went through our house very brazenly, broke into my wife's jewelry box, all while we were sleeping," the homeowner said.

A surveillance camera inside the home captured the suspect rummaging around before finding the camera and moving it out of place.
