FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. --The U-S Coast Guard offloaded 12-tons of cocaine and another ton of marijuana in South Florida Tuesday.
Crew members from the Coast Guard Cutter Legare removed their latest haul of drugs seized at sea.
The Coast Guard says the cargo came from 17 different drug-smuggling ships off the coast of Mexico, as well as the coast of Central and South America.
The entire load of drugs is worth nearly $400-million.
