NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. — A pair of eaglets hatched in Southwest Florida, just in time for Christmas.

On Sunday, thousands of viewers watched online as E12 came out of its shell in North Fort Myers.

Then on Christmas Day, the Southwest Florida Eagle Cam broke the news on Facebook that a second eaglet, E13, also hatched!

The eaglets' mother and father are now caring for the birds, bringing them fresh food and feeding them.

More than 226,000 people follow the eagles on Facebook.
