The search continues for a sex offender who escaped custody in Jacksonville.
When Leelynn Mark Drye showed up to register on Thursday the corrections department ran a computer check on him, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
They found a violation and handcuffed him. But he asked to use the restroom and escaped through a window.
He may still have handcuffs on.
