Florida cops get call about 'aggressive alligator' near Walgreens

Venice police in Florida got a call Thursday morning about an aggressive gator, but arrived to find the animal "calm, cool and collected." The gator was returned to safety.

VENICE, Fla. — Police in Central Florida got a call about an unusual suspect -- an "aggressive alligator near Walgreens."

Police said the alligator was making customers a little uneasy.

According to a tweet by Venice police, when they arrived the tough-skinned trespasser was quote "calm, cool and collected."

Officers say they only issued the gator a warning and got it safely back to a lake.
