FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) - Investigators say a 28-year-old Florida man fatally shot his mother during an argument with his parents at their South Florida home.
The shooting happened Sunday in Margate.
Alexander Deltoro is charged with manslaughter and carrying a concealed weapon. The judge said there is "no word" for the allegations in the case.
Deltoro stood beside the public defender and gazed down during Monday morning's first appearance hearing.
Judge Jackie Powell said because Deltoro brought a gun to the argument, his mother is now dead. She set a $101,000 bond and said he can't have contact with his father.
