The Southwest Florida community is holding a funeral for fallen Fort Myers police officer Adam Jobbers-Miller, who was shot in the line of duty last month.
Officer Jobbers-Miller, 29, was shot on July 21 after responding to a call at the Marathon Gas station.
Hundreds of people have donated to his official GoFundMe account. The Fort Myers Police Department says the response has been overwhelming.
The suspected shooter, Wisner Desmaret, was taken into custody after being shot by another officer.
