CLEARWATER, Fla. — An enormous tree fell on a car and a home in Clearwater Tuesday morning.
It happened at 1537 South Myrtle Ave.
The tree fell on the northernmost unit of a triplex and one unit suffered major damage, and two people were in the home at the time.
Fortunately, they were able to escape and no injuries were reported.
Photos from fire and rescue also appeared to show damage to a power pole.
Clearwater Police and Clearwater Fire and Rescue both responded. In addition, city crews and workers from Duke Energy were sent to the scene.
The tree is estimated to be about 150 years old, officials said.
