(WESH) A good Samaritan who tried to help people involved in a crash Saturday on Florida's I-4 in Volusia County became the victim of a carjacking.

"They were screaming that their sister was hurt and the lady was either passed out or dead so that's why I got out, it's my instinct to get out," the good Samaritan said.

But the people she was trying to help pulled her out and away from the car.

"We got into a shoving match, I tried to grab the wheel to prevent them from stealing the car and I got dragged," said the victim, who did not want to be identified.

The woman is still shaken by what happened.

"I thought I was gonna die. I just didn't know," she said.

She's still shaken by the carjacking. Her blue Ford Mustang convertible hasn't been seen since.

Deputies said three men put a woman who may have been hurt in the wreck inside the Mustang and sped off.

The victim hopes she can at least get her car back.

"They took my only mode of transportation for myself and my family to get back and forth to work. We work two jobs," she said.

"I want my car back, but, mentally, I'll never be the same," she added.
