Due to the effect of heavy rainfall on growing crops that are vulnerable to destruction in South Florida, Governor Rick Scott has issued an Executive Order, declaring a state of emergency exists in Broward, Collier, Glades, Hendry, Lee, Martin, and Palm Beach Counties.

The order finds that transporting the vulnerable crops to processing sites without delay is necessary to save them from destruction and relaxes the restrictions on weight, height, length, and width for commercial vehicles transporting the crops, in order to protect the agricultural interests of the State.
