Grease-covered suspect arrested in Broward

Posted

A Virginia man was arrested in South Florida after several 911 callers claimed he was acting suspiciously.

Broward Sheriff's Office deputies found Craig Bolin, 29, covered in grease in an industrial area near 35th Street and Northeast 5th Avenue in Oakland Park. They booked him for loitering and prowling, and carrying a concealed weapon without a permit.

Deputies said they found brass knuckles in his pocket and a knife attached to his boot. Bolin didn't give deputies a reason for why he was in the area.

There's no word on whether he has an attorney, but he posted his $100 bond and was released.
