COCONUT CREEK, Fla.-- A car engine's peculiar purring alerted some South Florida firefighters to a potential catastrophe.
Crews with Margate-Coconut Creek Fire Rescue responded Sunday after being alerted to a sound coming from an engine. And what a sound it was - full throated yelling coming from a teeny, tiny kitten who didn't seem to be all that happy about being freed.
Or maybe it was all the attention that got its fur up.
Firefighters say the kitten is okay.
