Orlando mayor says $7 million collected for terror attack victims

Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer said Friday morning that more than $7 million has been collected to help support the victims of the Pulse nightclub shooting.

Dyer said they are still trying to figure out how to distribute the money.

The mayor urged those who were affected by the shooting to seek assistance and help to recover from the tragedy.

He emphasized that the assistance center established this week isn’t just for those who lost loved ones or were injured. It is for anyone involved in the tragedy.

Over the past two days, 94 families and 256 individuals in Orlando have visited the center to receive help.
