AVENTURA, Fla. — An argument between a group of people at the Aventura Mall led to a shooting that injured two people Friday morning, police said.

Aventura police said the shooting was the result of an argument between four people inside the Nordstrom department store.

Aerial views showed a large police presence outside the Nordstrom.

Police said officers working at the mall chased down and apprehended the suspect.

Both victims were taken to Aventura Hospital. One of them was in critical condition.

Police offered scarce details but said one gun was recovered at the scene.

"Due to the quick response by all those involved, no employees or bystanders were injured," police said on Twitter.
