St. Petersburg woman, son found after being reported missing

UPDATE: A St. Petersburg 1-year-old and his 28-year-old mother have been found safe after being reported missing.

Police say the baby and his mother were found safe in a hotel. No other information has been released at this time.

ORIGINAL STORY: A missing child alert has been issued for a St. Petersburg 1-year-old and his 28-year-old mother, who were last seen Wednesday afternoon.

Sydney Wyatt and Future Johnson were last seen leaving Sydney's grandmother's home near 15th Street N. and 78th Terr. N. after she borrowed her car at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Police said the car Sydney borrowed turned up abandoned in Pinellas Park at 4:00 a.m. with the baby car seat and all the baby items still inside.

Sydney is 5'3" tall, weighs about 160 lbs., has long dark brown hair and her head is shaved on the left side. She has a tattoo of the letter "S" on her left ring finger, the word "rusty" tattooed on her left chest by her collarbone and the word "Future" tattooed on her right chest by the collarbone. 

She was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and black pants.

Future has short blond hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a pink, gray and navy-blue shirt with blue cotton shorts that look like denim and blue/green Nike shoes.
