DELAND, Fla. — The National Weather Service says a powerful tornado packing winds between 105 and 115 mph tore a 4-mile path across Central Florida on Tuesday.
The NWS confirmed an EF-2 tornado touched down just before 4 p.m. in DeLand and traveled 4.6 miles over the span of about 10 minutes.
The twister damaged buildings and knocked down trees and power lines.
The NWS said no injuries were reported.
