MIAMI (AP) -- Authorities say the body of a man who went missing while jet skiing in Miami has been found.

Local media outlets report the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission says the body of 46-year-old Jose Montes de Oca was recovered from a lake near Miami International Airport on Monday afternoon.

Montes de Oca disappeared Saturday night while riding a personal watercraft in Blue Lagoon Lake.

FWC spokesman Lorenzo Veloz says Montes de Oca went out on his friend's WaveRunner from Antonio Maceo Park and never returned. He was wearing dark clothing and didn't have a life vest on.

The jet ski was later found near some trees.

Rescue crews searched the water that evening, Sunday and into Monday.

Montes de Oca's death remains under investigation.
