As families prepare for the funerals of the 49 victims in the Pulse nightclub shooting, some emotional stories are surfacing.

A woman who lost her grandson, Luis Omar Ocasio-Capo, 20, in the shooting was traveling alone on a JetBlue flight to Orlando this week to be with family members.

A passenger on the flight, Kelly Davis Karas, posted on her Facebook page a first-hand account of the compassion and kindness the grandmother was shown, which has since gone viral.

Karas said the grandmother received much-needed comfort from JetBlue employees and passengers, letting her know the world was with her.

After the plane landed in Orlando, Karas said “every single person stopped to offer her their condolences.”

Below is Karas' heartfelt post, which has been shared 74,000 times since it was posted on Tuesday.
