The private investigator hired by Casey Anthony says her attorney claimed that she killed her daughter Caylee and dumped the body.
Dominic Casey worked as a private investigator for Casey Anthony in 2008. Casey was hired by Anthony's attorney, Jose Baez.
Earlier this year, Anthony filed paperwork to open Case Photography in West Palm Beach.
According to court documents filed in April 2016, Dominic Casey says Baez told him on July 26, 2008, "that Casey had murdered Caylee and dumped the body somewhere and, he needed all the help he could get to find the body before anyone else did."
He also alleges that he "personally heard from Casey Anthony authorize and permit her attorneys... to make false statements about George, Cindy, Lee Anthony, Roy Kronk (the meter reader who found Caylee's body) and portray them as being responsible for the murder of Caylee Marie Anthony."
Dominic Casey also claims he witnessed sexual misconduct between Casey Anthony and her attorney. He said he arrived at Baez's office unexpectedly one day in September 2008 and witnessed her running naked from his private office, through the conference room to the hallway.
When he confronted Anthony, Dominic Casey says she told him she had to provide sexual favors for Baez because she didn't have any money to pay him. Dominic Casey says he told Anthony that night that she cannot allow him to continue engaging in this behavior.
He said, "Casey told me she had to do what Jose said because she had no money for her defense."
Soon after, Dominic Casey provided written notice of resignation of his services to Jose Baez and the Baez Law Firm.
