An Orlando man accused of dangling a dog from a second-floor railing has turned himself in to police.
Ransom May, 22, said he turned himself in because of pressure brought by media coverage and the search by detectives.

Cellphone video posted on Facebook shows a man holding a dog by the neck, the station reports, and dangling the animal over a railing.
“Kill that dog, you going to jail,” someone in the video says.
May faces animal cruelty charges.
Police located the dog late Tuesday night.

WFTV reports that animal services officials and Orlando Police Department went to the neighborhood where the incident occurred but residents wouldn’t identify May.
