LAKELAND, Fla. — On Tuesday, Publix said they once again have adjusted their grocery store hours because of the coronavirus.

The Florida-based grocery chain says this will help "provide our store teams additional time to conduct preventive sanitation and to restock our shelves."

Effective Wednesday morning, the store hours will be 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Pharmacy hours will be Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday pharmacy hours will be normal. Hours of pharmacies at hospitals will vary by location.

Publix was already closing at 8 p.m. effective March 14.
