Rapper Kodak Black was arrested Saturday at the Rolling Loud Music Festival, officials said.

According to Miami-Dade Police, he was taken into custody on federal charges.

Miami-Dade officials went on to say that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms is the lead investigator on the case.

ATF commented on the incident Saturday, saying he was arrested on federal firearms charges. He is scheduled for an initial appearance at the U.S. Courthouse in Downtown Miami on Monday.

According to U.S. Marshals, the rapper was arrested as he arrived at the festival for his performance.

U.S. Marshals said the arrest was made following "an extensive investigation conducted by the U.S. Marshals, ATF and Miami-Dade Police Department's North Side Gang Unit."

They went on to say that he will be charged with both state and federal firearms violations. He is being booked into the Federal Detention Center in Miami.

Social media reports indicate that the rapper was arrested at the Rolling Loud Music Festival at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami before he was able to perform.

Last month, Kodak Black, whose legal name is Bill Kapri, was arrested on drug and weapons charges as he tried to cross from Canada into the United States near Niagara Falls.

The 21-year-old rapper from Miramar, Florida, was arrested on charges of third-degree criminal posession of a weapon and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Officials have not yet confirmed all of the charges Kapri will be facing for Saturday's incident.
