A South Florida celebrity is joining the growing list of public figures offering personal aid to Puerto Rico in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria: Pitbull.
The Miami-based rapper is reportedly sending his private plane to the hurricane-thrashed island to transport cancer patients back to the U.S. to receive their chemotherapy treatments.
Resident Commissioner Jenniffer Gonzalez took to Twitter to thank the star for his compassionate act.
"Thanks to singer @Pitbull for lending his private plane to transport cancer patients from Puerto Rico to the United States so they can take chemo," Gonzalez said in a translated tweet.
