WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., will quarantine after coming into contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19.
He was tested Saturday morning and the result was negative.
Scott announced Saturday afternoon on Twitter that he didn't have any symptoms but would be quarantining "out of an abundance of caution."
After arriving in Florida last night, I came into contact with someone who subsequently tested positive for COVID.
