DORAL, Fla. (AP) -- A South Florida man accused of taking his then-16-year-old daughter and her teenage friend to a strip club has been sentenced to five years of probation.
The Miami Heraldreports that 60-year-old Jose Manuel Arguelles pleaded no contest Thursday to 10 counts of child abuse, and prosecutors agreed to drop more serious charges of providing drugs to a minor and promoting the sexual performance of a minor.

Hialeah police officers arrested Arguelles in August 2015. Authorities say he took the underage girls to the Pink Pony in Doral and allowed them to drink alcohol, do drugs and dance on a stage.
Police started investigating after the friend's mother found cellphone pictures and video of the teens at the club. The girls told police that Arguelles took them to the club several times over six months.
