SpaceX launched a rocket into space Friday afternoon.
The Falcon 9 rocket carried the first geostationary communications satellite in Bulgaria’s history. It's called BulgariaSat-1.
Liftoff took place from Launch Complex 39-A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.
