Passengers on Spirit Airlines had to deal with a system-wide network outage Tuesday morning.
Both the Miramar-based airline and Fort Lauderdale / Hollywood International Airport posted messages on social media announcing the problem.
The problem kept the airline from checking in passengers and allowing them to board flights, according to a tweet from Fort Lauderdale / Hollywood International Airport.
Spirit later tweeted that its systems were back up and running.
Those with scheduled flights are advised to check with the airline before going to the airport to make sure there are no delays.
