Police responded after a student was shot outside Carol City Senior High School in Miami Gardens Wednesday.
The student was shot in the busway outside the school at 3301 Miami Gardens Drive, Miami-Dade County School officials said.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials confirmed they responded to the scene.
The student's condition was unknown. No other information was immediately known.
