If you use SunPass to navigate Florida’s highways, listen up.

The Florida Department of Transportation says system maintenance from June 5 to June 11 will impact multiple services during those days.

Drivers will still be able to use the system on roads like the Turnpike and bridges but will not be able to add money to their accounts during that time.

All SunPass services will be off-line during the system maintenance period. Replenishment of accounts will be disabled starting at 7 p.m. on June 5.

For Drivers Who Replenish SunPass with Cash

You should access your account before Tuesday, June 5 to make sure that you have enough funds on your account to pay for any tolls you may use until the system is back online June 11.

For customers who replenish their accounts through Easy Pay

Because toll transactions will be held starting Tuesday, June 5 at 7 p.m., your credit card may be charged multiple times after the system comes back on-line, if your automatic replenishment amount does not cover the total amount of tolls incurred during the system maintenance period.

FDOT said they want drivers to be aware of the multiple credit card transactions they may show up on their card.

If you wish to keep this from happening, go to the website and make an additional replenishment payment before Tuesday, June 5.

SunPass Parking At Airports Impacted

All SunPass Plus Parking at Florida airports, except at Orlando International Airport, will be unavailable.

Palm Beach County International Airport said in a written statement Wednesday they have already closed SunPass entry lanes to reduce customer delays. SunPass exit lanes are operational at PBIA for customers that entered before May 30. Drivers entering the PBIA lots should use non-SunPass entry lanes and take a ticket through June 11.

SunPass services will be unavailable at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport starting June 3 through June 11.
