Tampa Police are currently investigating a shooting of a 17-month-old child. It happened at the Clipper Bay Apartments at 6727 S. Lois Avenue.
Police say they got the call at 4:12 p.m. Sunday about an injured toddler. Investigators determined once arriving on scene, that the child died of a gunshot wound.
Investigators are currently interviewing family members to determine how the child was shot.
