Police are investigating after three men were found shot to death in a warehouse in northeast Miami-Dade late Wednesday night.
Officers received calls of shots being fired shortly before 10 p.m. near Northeast 184th Terrace and 1st Court. Once inside, they discovered the bodies of three black males who had been shot and killed.
Police haven't released the names of the victims but relatives say one of the victims was a man named Norris Cole.
The relatives say a fight broke out and Cole, after asking those involved to leave, was shot in the head.
"They started to shoot up the one another and a spare shot caught him," said Eustace Cole, the victim's younger brother.
Cole owned the building where the shooting took place, relatives said, and is no relation to the former Miami Heat player.
"He was honest, he was helpful, he gave and gave and gave and he didn't ask for anything in return," said friend Anima Bona.
Police said the shooting remains under investigation.
