MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- Authorities say a tourist from New York was shot and killed outside a restaurant in Miami Beach.
Multiple media outlets report the shooting happened just before 7 a.m. Sunday near the News Cafe.
Miami Beach Police say the unidentified victim, who was visiting from out of state, was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
Police spokesman Ernesto Rodriguez says detectives are working to determine what led up to the shooting.
He says authorities are searching for three men in connection to the shooting. Police say the men fled in a white Jeep Grand Cherokee with tinted windows.
