MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. — A female Florida trooper is calling it a career after 36 years on the job!
On Tuesday, Trooper Barbara Ehrhart signed off for the final time in an emotional video posted to the @FHPSWFLTwitter page.
Ehrhart served her entire career in Manatee County.
During her goodbye, she thanked Florida's residents and hoped she had encouraged other women that may have entered law enforcement.
The agency said she "has been an inspiration to us all!"
The video of her signing off has been watched more than 23,000 times and received 1,700 likes since it was posted Tuesday afternoon.
