A police department in Florida is receiving a lot of positive feedback after they posted on Facebook video of an officer playing basketball with some kids.
The Gainesville Police Department received a call Jan. 15 about kids playing basketball too loudly in the streets.
Officer White was the police officer dispatched to the call.
"You believe someone's calling to complain about kids playing basketball in the street?" he asked a boy holding a basketball when he arrived. "I don't know who called, but obviously, I ain't got no problem with it," said White.
After playing basketball with the kids, White asks them kindly not to be too loud and tells them to have fun.
Officer White was recently dispatched to a call of kids playing basketball "loudly" in the streets. In the evening. Having fun. Not committing crimes. Let's see how he handled it.
