WESTON, Fla. — The Broward County Sheriff's Office is looking for two men who distracted and stole a woman's wallet at a Publix grocery store this month in Broward County.

The theft occurred Jan. 10 at a store located at 4567 Weston Rd. in Weston.

Video shows one man start a conversation in the produce section with the victim, while a second man comes from behind and quickly unzips her purse and take her wallet.

The sheriff’s office said when the victim was at the checkout, she realized her wallet was missing.

She traced back her steps that day and after reviewing surveillance video with Publix staff, they saw the theft.

The video showed the two thieves arrived at the store just after 2 p.m. The duo is seen walking around the produce section before targeting the victim and stealing her purse.

One suspect is described as a tall, thin man with faded, dark hair, a beard and goatee. He was spotted wearing a black shirt, camouflage shorts and a jean jacket with the word “Future” in white letters on the sleeves.

His accomplice was a heavy-set man wearing a blue and white checkered shirt, white shorts, a khaki scarf and a blue and gray cap.
