The eye of Category 4 Hurricane Michael showed an absolute calm when it made landfall in the Florida Panhandle, while images of the storm's aftermath show pure destruction.

A storm chaser from the website StormChasingVideo.com drove through the eyewall when it came ashore.
The video shows the calmness and clear skies of the eye right before the strongest part of the storm inundates the area.
As of Thursday morning, two people had been killed from the stormthat packed 155 mph winds when it hit the Panhandle.
