The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is holding three public webinars about bear management.
The first webinar will be held at 6 p.m. May 26. Next week, they will be held May 31 and June 2.
The state's first black-bear hunt in more than two decades was held last October, which led to the killing of 304 bears across Florida.
Information about the webinars and bear hunt is online at www.MyFWC.com/bear and http://www.myfwc.com/media/3803586/Bear-Webinars-Agenda.pdf
Those interested in viewing the webinar must pre-register at www.surveymonkey.com/r/FWCBear. Participation will require computer and telephone access, but those without computer access can listen in on the phone.
Phone registrations must be made ahead of time by calling 352-372-4747 and asking for Alexis Hampton.
Officials estimate there are 4,350 black bears in Florida.
