'Wreaths Across America' to honor veterans on Saturday, Dec. 15

On Saturday, Dec. 15 at 10 a.m., the Wreaths Across America group is set to remember and honor America's veterans through the laying of remembrance wreaths on the graves and saying the name of each and every veteran aloud.

The group is hoping to lay wreaths at as many graves as possible. Click here to sponsor a wreath and help them reach their goal of honoring every veteran at the cemetery.

Kraeer Funeral Home at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens will participate in Wreaths Across America on Saturday.

Boy Scouts Troop 152 in Pompano Beach, the North Perry Civil Air Patrol Squadron, the Broward County Sheriff's Office Honor Guard, Pompano Beach Elks Lodge, Daughters of the American Revolution and local businesses will participate in the event.

There will also be a car show with more than 50 cars on display in conjunction with Wreaths Across America.

The event will take place at Kraeer Funeral Home at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens located at 200 West Copans Rd. in Pompano Beach on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
